    8.0.9.0 market analyzer still buggy

    Still getting exceptions when double clicking in instrument column entry area of MA to enter ticker symbols (already submitted and acknowledged error from v8080)

    With v8090, still getting same exceptions being thrown as above and new bug of ticker symbol disappearing from the MA if that name is double clicked and dragged either up or down in the chart. This will also cause a repeat of the same symbol to be created as per the screen shot.

    Was the first issue not resolved with the fixes to 8080?

    I wanted to check, can you provide the confirmation number we had provided when submitting the prior report? I reviewed the previous posts you had about this but it appears that had ended in emailing support.

    I would like to review the existing case and see if any other details I can relay are present.

      Neither was addressed with the latest update. This goes back to August 3rd.

        Thank you for the reply.

        For these ticket numbers, I can see that ticket 1761167 was submitted to development and has a tracking ID of 12079
        This item is not currently resolved in a public release, but you can watch the change log for this number to appear to know when this has been addressed in an update.

        For the second ticket, I do see that we had taken in details for this but I am unable to reproduce this on my end with the current release.

        I see that you were adding blank rows, adding symbols to the rows, removing rows and then repeating the steps to see the exception, is this correct? Do you happen to have a specific example scenario you could provide, with the symbols used and steps used to apply them? A video would work better for this if you have the ability to record this happening, you could use a free service such as jing.

        Also, can you test using safe mode to see if the exception still happens for you in safe mode?

        to enable safe mode, please use the following steps:

        Exit NinjaTrader.
        Hold the CONTROL key and double click the NinjaTrader icon.
        Keep the CONTROL key held down until you see the Control Center.
        You can verify you are in safe mode by going to Help -> About, also the splash screen will show SAFE MODE.

          You should talk with the people on your end who originally handled this. They duplicated the error and supposedly submitted it. I'm not getting into submitting videos unless you put me on the payroll. No disrespect intended.
