Hello,
Thank you for your post.
You will want to use Scale quantity in properties. This link has a section on scaling:

Thanks. Trading Forex via Chart Trader, if I enter 0.1 in the Scale Quantity within Properties (for scaling in increments of one full size lot, ie. $100k) it is rejected. Please assist !
Are you saying that if the scaling option is correctly set and I want to exit $0.1m of a strategy that has entered $0.3m long, I press the "Sell Market" button and it will sell only $0.1m, not $0.3m as per the ATM strategy ?
Hope that second q is clear ?

This is a link from our chart trader section in the help guide it contains a small section about scaling in/out:
What is possible as well is to change the Qty and then either hit the 'Sell Market' or 'Buy Market' button.
So if you have 2 Long contracts working and you want to scale out 1, simply change the Qty to 1 and hit the 'Sell Market' button.Vince B.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Thanks, Vincent - so having entered a trade, say long, with my 3 cash forex lot strategy (expressed as an entry quantity of "0.3m"), and having ignored the "Scale quantity" in Chart Trader Properties (because it will not accept a value less than 1 - something that could perhaps be added to the "to do" list for a future release ?), I then change "Qty" to "0.1m" and scale out by usnig any of the Sell buttons as appropriate. That's manageable ;o) .
I know it's in the Help file somewhere (but not in your link) : which target is removed when scaling out a single lot, nearest or furthest, please ?
TIA.
J.
