I have been researching this for a while and have reached an impasse due to my limited programming skills.
I run my trading system on a remote computer that I lease. I have not found a leased system that provides audio with their systems. So none of the Ninja indicator audio alerts work on my system. This is the problem I am trying to solve.
I have been able to add a SendMail code to open source indicators which sends an email, using a leased SMTP server, (SMTP2Go.com) to a text messaging service (TextMagic.com) which then sends the Alert to my phone. Works fine.
The problems is that I have some proprietary indicators that I also want to get these remote text Alerts from but can not add the code to the locked indicator.
My solution is to add the indicator to a Strategy and then have the Strategy watch for the symbol plot that the Alert makes when it is triggered. The Alert that I am interested in can be exposed by the Indicator in the Strategy. The Strategy can then perform the SendMail function sending the e-mail and subsequently the text message to my phone. I only know of one Indicator vendor who has e-mail functionality as part of their Alerts in their proprietary indicator - Integrity Trader's Scorpion.
My programming skills are not strong enough to create this kind of code. So I am looking for some one who who will create this coding for me. I am happy to compensate them. I have a condition that does not allow me to stay in front of the PC all day so the Alerts are invaluable. The proprietary indicator is Better Sine Wave from eMiniWatch.com. I have contacted them but they seem to be busy with other things.
