Pivots not plotting in NT 8.0.3.1

    Pivots not plotting in NT 8.0.3.1

    I am not sure why.

    I am trying to use this indicator on 5-minute charts of ES and YM with 20 days of data on each of them but all I am getting is "Insufficient Daily data to calculate Pivots" which seems a bit strange.

    I did not have problems of this kind with this indicator on NT 7. At least I could get the pivots plotted.

    Any idea what's wrong here?

    I noticed that this might not be a new issue



    but one would think that something that basic and standard should not be causing this sort of problems.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Who are you connected to for data?

    Does Historical Data appear on this chart as you would expect for all 20 days?

    What instrument expiry have you selected for these instruments?

    Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

      1. My intraday data is from the Interactive Brokers.
      2. Yes, the historical data appears to be there: from December 21st 2016 to January 10th 2017. Holiday days are not there. I am using this sample for testing.
      3. I am not sure what you mean by the instrument expiry. How do I control this? It's the current March 2017 contracts.
      4. Yes, both on the screen and in the log where it says "NinjaScript" (Category) and "Insufficient Daily data to calculate Pivots" (Message).

        Hello,

        Thanks for getting back to me.

        I am seeing the same behavior on my end. However, the same settings in NinjaTrader 7 do produce Pivots on the chart as expected. I'll do some more research on my end and follow up here with more information.

          I have not been able to replicate this item yet so far today. So that I may investigate I would ask that you contact me by email at PlatformSupport [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In your message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace files. You will find these diagnostic file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Trace folder. I will need to review a copy of the files which are named 'trace.20170119.XXXXX.txt'. There will likely be multiple files for each day.
