    Problem Start Ninja

    Good morning all,

    This is my first post!

    I'm using a ninja trader 7 for over a year. Now i have a new PC and i have a problem.

    I configurated different workspaces, and i use an indicator workspacePro to change the workspace more fast.

    In a new PC, when start ninja, apear :
    NinjaTrader application it stopped working and close inmediately.

    I contact with ninja trader support en they told me that the erros is due to different workspaces opened at the same time.

    In the previous PC I have more workspaces and no problem.

    Every workspaces contain 2 or 3 charts, i have variuos screens.

    I don't know what is the problem exactly.

    Hello Jordi,

    Welcome to the NinjaTrader support forum.

    Can you please proceed as follows. Make sure NinjaTrader is shut down and navigate to the folder below.

    Windos start menu-->Documents-->NinjaTrader 7-->workspaces

    Delete the _Workspaces.xml file that is within the workspaces folder. This will not delete your workspaces, but ensures no workspaces will be opened on startup.

    *Please note this will not delete your workspace however the new blank workspace will be named Untitled1. If you have a workspace already named Untitled1, you will not want to save the workspace when exiting NinjaTrader, otherwise it will overwrite it.

    Check if you can start NinjaTrader without issue. You can open your workspaces at Control Center-->File-->Workspaces-->Open Workspace.



    If you still cannot start NinjaTrader, please send me both your log and trace files for today. Log and trace files can be found at the following locations. Please attach the files in your email and send them to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please put 'Att Jason, 1647209' in the subject header.

    Windows start menu-->Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> log--> log.20170120 for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)

    Windows start menu-->Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> trace--> trace.20170120 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)
