Optimize on Data Series

Hello aaadetos,

Any bar type that uses an underlying bar type, such as HeikenAshi or PointAndFigure, cannot be optimized over.

I am inquiring if this by design (in which case I will submit a feature request on your behalf to allow underlying bar type parameters to be optimized over) or if this was overlooked (in which case I will submit a bug report to our development about the behavior).

I appreciate your patience while I look into this.

The documentation reads:
"If set to true, the Data Series Value property will be available for optimization (Not supported for Kagi, PointAndFigure, and Line Break period Types)..".so I naturally thought Heiken-Ashi will be supported. Thanks again for looking into this.

I was able to get confirmation that HeikenAshi bars cannot be optimized over.
I've submitted a request to have the help guide changed to reflect this.

Thank you for pointing this out so that we can make a correction.

Please let me know if you find any other items in the help guide or on the NinjaTrader Platform you feel are incorrect.
