    Connection Stability TDAmeritrade

    I'm loading about 100 stocks into an indicator from TDAmeritrade and I'm getting disconnects and issues. Can ninja handle this amount of data? I don't have any issues with RTD with excel and the desktop version of TOS.

    Thanks for writing in to our Support team.

    Are you loading these stocks into a Market Analyzer window with an indicator column applied to it?

    What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X or 8.0.X.0)

    Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

      No i'm not using the market analyzer

      Im loading a chart, and then adding an indicator that has AddDataSeries with the same BarsPeriod and type as the primary series on the chart. I have some output showing whether the indicator is still running. It seems like the primary series still gets data sometimes, while the rest stop. I do not see any errors in the output tab or log. Other times it just disconnects and reconnects a few times in a row before

      Im on NT8 8.0.4.0 64 bit, but just updated yesterday.

        I would like to look into your log and trace files to investigate this issue further.

        You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.

        Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.
