    Unable to Load EURUSD chart...

    Hi

    I had this a few years ago and it has suddenly started again, on a different computer.

    I can load any forex chart by simply typing e.g. GBPUSD, USDJPY, CADJPY, ... However for some reason typing EURUSD doesn't work: I get a blank chart (with a vertical scale from 0 to 0.01).

    The only way to load a EURUSD chart now is to type $EURUSD!!

    I didn't change any settings - it just happened. Any ideas?

    Thank you for your post.

    It is possible that the instrument database is not recognizing the input.

    Please attempt to reset your instruments to see if this resolves the issue.

    To reset your instruments please follow the steps below.

    Disconnect from your data feed: NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Disconnect> Select your data feed.
    Reset your Instruments: NinjaTrader Control Center> Tools> Options> Data tab> Reset Instruments>OK.
    Restart NinjaTrader> Connect (NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Connect> Select your connection.

    Please let us know if this does not resolve the issue so we may assist further.

        Hello,

        Thank you for attempting the reset.

        Are you using NinjaTrader 7 or 8?

        What version? This can be found under Control Center> Help> About...

        If using NinjaTrader 7 the version will show at the top of the about window in a format 7.0.1000.XX

        If using NinjaTrader 8 the version will show near the top in format 8.0.x.x

          I'm using v7.0.1000.34 but it started on v7.0.1000.33 (I upgraded after the problem started).

            Thank you for the update.

            At this point it seems like your database may have become corrupted.

            Please attempt to repair your database, if this does not help resetting would be the next step.

            Please follow the instructions below to repair the NinjaTrader database. (This can take long depending on the size of your database file and your system.)

            Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via File > Disconnect.
            From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options.
            Select the 'Data' tab.
            Press the 'Repair DB' button.
            Press the 'OK' button.
            If this does not resolve the issue please try the steps below to reset:

            Please follow the instructions below to reset the NinjaTrader database. (This can take long depending on the size of your database file and your system.)

            Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via File > Disconnect.
            From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options.

            The following data will be removed.

            Historical orders.
            Historical executions.
            Historical ATM strategy data.
            Saved Strategy Analyzer backtest results.

                Hello,

                Thanks for the reply.

                Please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what occurred.

                You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.

                Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.
