    Using indicator in market analyzer causes error

    Hi,

    I was trying to add an indicator to market analyzer as a column, and found something strange.

    With a custom list of 6 stocks, everything works fine. Though with a larger list, DOW 30, NT keeps throwing this error says: "An entry with the same key already exists". Please see the screenshot attached.

    Is this a potential bug or there are some restrictions I'm not aware of?

    Thank you for writing in.

    Under the Control Center>Help>About, what version of NinjaTrader are you using? For example 8.0.0.

    Does this issue occur when you're connected to a live data feed?

        Thank you for the reply.

        There have been updates released since 8.0.4.0, could you please update to the current version of the platform and then re-test this?

        You can update the platform using the following steps.
        • First get your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
        • Click on the link: http://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
        • Enter your license key and press Submit
        • Select 'NinjaTrader 8' if you are on NinjaTrader 8.
        • Select 'Download'
        • Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

          Hi Jesse,

          Thank you for the help and swift reply.

          I have updated my NT to 8.0.5.2 64-bit (Multi-Broker). The issue remains. Please see a screenshot attached.

          Though I did find out something while testing. This issue only occurs while connected to playback connection. With live connection everything works fine.

            I was able to replicate and have reported this to development as a bug. At this time I do not have a date of resolution.

              I have the latest version of NT 8 installed.

              I had an open position in playback mode and disconnected from connection. After reconnect the known error occured. After NT restart I am not able to reconnect to playback again. Every time the error appears.

              Is there still a solution? It is a very critical bug in my opinion. Please see attached screenshot.

              If this is a another or new error please move this post to a new thread.
