    Nt8 unable to clear cache

When I open NT8 version 8.0.6.0 using 64 bit or 32 bit I get an error message unable to clear cache data. The processes won't bleed down and start to use lots of memory. please help i have had memory issues for over 6 months and have been unable to use Ninjtrader on my 6 monitor system and have been forced to trade from a laptop for months.

I decided to upgrade to windows 10 pro to see if this would help will no avail.

    Hello FXMIKE,

    Thanks for your reply.

Please attempt to delete your cache folder and then test if this issue persists.

To delete the cache, follow the steps below:
    • Shut down NinjaTrader.
    • Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > db folder.
    • Delete the sub-folder named 'cache'.
    • Restart NinjaTrader and test.

If this does not resolve your issue, please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what is occurring.

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.

Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

Please reference this forum post in the body of your email and put ATTN Alan S in the subject line:

I look forward to your reply.

I deleted the cache and followed the steps that you outlined for me and the error message is gone. I used this pc that I have been unable to use for months trying to get the ram to ramp up and this is the first time that I have been unable to reproduce the nightmare that I have been fighting for months. Thanks for your help I think the New version 8.0.6.0. finally fixed my memory issues.

Do you have a local account? Or a Hotmail?
        Is the local account admin?

If you get this again - does right click "run as administrator" help?
