Many of us are professional programmers who use Visual Studio, as well as a number of commercial VS add-ins, like JetBrains' ReSharper to really speed through coding and testing. Furthermore, most programmers configure a sophisticated tool like Visual Studio to be setup just the way they like it, so they are at their most productive. By contrast, the NinjaScript editor, while not a bad tool pales next to Visual Studio in functionality and sophistication.
How hard would it be to include a VS add-in or NinjaTrader VS project type to handle the integration details with Ninja Trader? Being able to use either the standard NinjaScript editor OR Visual Studio as the primary development environment would be a huge help to us serious programmers. Thanks. |
