Accessing Sound Files through Properties

Hi,

Is it possible to access sound files through properties using

[Editor(typeof....)] or do I need to write my own type converter?

This same issue was brought up byDayTrader_Cam on Mar 18 2009.

Unfortunately this is beyond the scope of what we can cover for NinjaScript support. Perhaps you could ask byDayTrader_Cam to see if he was able to get it to work on his end or not.

Hi Josh,

You already implement this in MarketAnalyzer AlertConditions. DayTrader_Cam pointed this out in 2009 and your CSR Kylle said it would go to the development team. It is beyond me why this was not implemented for custom indicators as of 2011. Please let me know if this was implemented. Thank you.

What is available in a Market Analyzer column is not reflective of what we can or cannot offer support for in NinjaScript. Unfortunately this happens to be outside the scope of what we can offer assistance on. To achieve this requires more advanced programming which we just unfortunately cannot cover. I don't need help with advanced programming. Thank you. I can program well already. I was simply inquiring whether that type of functionality had been implemented for custom indicators and from your answer I gather the answer is no.

Simply put, yes. It is just standard C# FileNameEditor Class stuff for opening a File Selection Dialog box.
