Default minimising & restoring multiple chrts with one click

Just wondering if its possible to minimise or restore multiplue windows (eg charts, DOM T&S) with ONE click insttead of individually clicking each window?

I've tried linking and searching, but doesnt seem to work.

thanks

Josh,
windows+d swaps desktop and the active app windows. But If the last app is not NT then need to do a individual restore of the each window. Did anyone found a way to restore all "floating" windows of NT to restore with a single click.

awesome. just tried Dexpot app. google it or read it here for other options

Hello kinshin9,
You can alternatively create a blank workspace and use it to restore the windows

To quickly minimize/reopen any open NinjaTrader window you can create an empty workspace.

First, save your current workspace.
  • From the Control Center -> File -> Workspaces -> Save Workspace As -> Enter Custom Name -> Press 'OK'
  • Next create another workspace to act as an empty workspace.
  • From the Control Center -> File -> Workspaces -> New Workspace
  • You now have an emtpy workspace
  • File -> Workspaces -> Save Workspace As -> Enter 'Empty' or 'Blank' -> Press 'OK'
  • Now you can use the Hotkey CTRL+F3 to cycle through any open workspaces.

Please see the following link for additional information.

http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...workspaces.htm

CTRL + Left click on the task bar will cycle through the open windows if there are multiples like NinjaTrader

joyDeep,
I'm not talking about workspaces or hotkeys. When you minimize all the windows of NT of any opened workspace on the desktop, to restore em back you need to restore one by one. there is no other way (except Dexpot/virtualWin) . This is what I was asking. ctrl+LeftClick (not working on my win7) or windowsKey+tab cycles thru the opened windows but the problem is windows treats each opned window of NT as a single app . Even Mbtrading has the same problem but they have a button on right corner of the windows which makes dock or undock meaning to "sit inside the" main application" (for us it is "Control center" of NT) Hope I'm clear.

Hello kinshin9,
Yes, I am aware of the problem. There is no single button to restore the charts/windows at one click. The only workaround as of now is to create a blank/empty workspace and cycle through it (the workspaces) to restore the windows at one go.

Please let me know if I can assist you any further.

oh! now i see. this is pretty good. but the reason i didn't get it first time is the shortcut ket to cycle thru
workspace is shift+F3 not ctrl+F3 in NT7. i had to open shortcut manager to find this.
thnx joy.

Hello laredo78676,
No, you dont have to setup caps lock in any way.

Please make sure Chart Control or any Chart or SuperDom etc is the foremost window while switching between workspaces.

Hello laredo78676,
My apologies, it should read Control Center.

The Control Center or any of the Charts/SuperDom should be the top most window (active window).
