Default Suggestion: Please improve the text and marker for executions.

Hello Ninjas,

I`m immensely enjoying your software and went live for the first time today.

For my use, my only critique at this point is how the execution is plotted and marked. After a day of trading I simply can`t differentiate or even read everything on my chart.

The text is way too clustered.

My suggestion is that the text should be plotted with a little distance from the price graph with arrows to specify where the trade is executed.

If there are many trades within the same price area, for example in a trading range, the text should be organized way outside that area in an orderly manner with precise arrows pointing to the execution.

I could draw up a chart if my proposal is not clear.

Thanks in advance,

Johnny

PS: I understand that for a high-frequency trader this would be a problem anyway, but for us who execute less than 10 trades per day it should be possible to organize this in a more orderly fashion.

Hello,

Glad to hear of your success.

As far as the text you have 2 options. If you are on NinjaTrader 6.5 right click on the chart and goto properties. It is there that you can change the PlotExecution markers to DoNotPlot or Markers only. Markers only may be the solution your looking for here.

Let me know if this will work for you.

Hello Brett,

This works to some extent and I`m already aware of this function, but I miss text.

For now I will have to plot text myself. It would be awesome if the plotting of text would be better organized.

Not a big problem for me though, just a thing on my wish list

Regards,

Johnny

Thanks
