Aroon Ocillator Strategy

HELLO,

I am new to Ninja Trader since figuring out that the conditional orders on the thinkorswim platform are not performing as expected. While I suspect that someone over there knows how to make them work, I have been unable to get in touch with them, so I am on to new horizons with Ninja Trader. I'm using the free platform and free yahoo data for testing.

I am looking to automate a trade using the Aroons Oscillator with the EUR/USD on a 1 minute chart.

I have never used Ninja Trader with any regularity before and am finding it more challenging than I thought it would be. I have not yet even executed my first paper trade.

The parameters as written for the thinkorswim platform are as follows:

ORDER: Sell EUR/USD to Open at Market

CONDITIONAL SYNTAX: AroonOscillator()."UpDownDiff" crosses below AroonOscillator()."OverBought";1m' is TRUE

I'd like to make this work in Ninja Trader. Some hand-holding to get me started with this is greatly appreciated!!

Ted, as courtesy I've attached a simple strategy done with our point and click wizard interface to get you started, it's entering Short as the AroonOsc crosses below 80 (configurable as input).
