Default 2 Accounts, 2 Brokerages

I have one account at one broker, and one account at another broker. Would it be possible to execute trades simultaneously in both accounts (ex: long one gold contract at goldman, long one gold contract at jp morgan) using ninjatrader or a third party add on. I lease a multi broker license

Thank you

Hi Michael1,

Thanks for your post.

This is possible through a feature we call Account Groups. Account Groups allow you to group individual accounts into a group account. These account groups will show up in any of the NinjaTrader order entry windows' account selection lists. If selected, any order placed will be replicated and sent to each account that belongs to the group.
NOTE: Subsequent cancellations and or order modifications will NOT be replicated against each order, you must manage each replicated order individually.

More information about configuring Account Groups can be found here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...unt_groups.htm

You stated this works for individual accounts. Will this work for block accounts also? When the orders are replicated they all essentially go off within milliseconds of each other since there are different executions?

Hi Michael1,

Yes, this is something which should function with a block account as well. All orders would be submitted at the same time and therefore should execute at relatively the same time as well.

Sorry to just but in here: What is a block account - where can I find information or a description of how block accounts work?

Hello sandman,

This is an account type offered by some brokerages. You'll want to contact your broker directly to see if they offer this type of account.
