Question Can the readings on one chart trigger a trade on another chart?

Hi,

I am wondering if ta strategy can be built for this :

When a 10-SMA cross above a 15-SMA on the VIX chart, a long trade is triggered and bought on another stock like AIG. And when they cross in the opposite direction, the position is closed and instead a short trade is triggered and sold.

How can Ninjatrader do this?

comfy, yes this would be possible via custom coding a MultiSeries strategy in our NinjaScript - for example please check out the 'SampleMultiInstrument' installed per default with your NT.
