    Strategy corrupts the volume chart

Whenever I implement a strategy upon a Volume chart, it corrupts the volume chart. Instead of trying to describe the problem, I created a video demonstrating the problem. This problem happens with any strategy, implemented upon the volume chart.

    Your thoughts? Thanks,

    Hello timmbbo,

    Thank you for the post.

First, apply the SampleMACrossover to the same chart with Market Replay on and see if the same behavior occurs.

Please also delete the market replay data and redownload it.

    To delete market replay data:
    Shut down NinjaTrader
    Navigate to C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db
Delete the folder named 'data', a new one will generate upon next start of NinjaTrader

To download Market Replay data: File>Utilities>Download Replay Data.

I look forward to hearing of your results.

          timmbbo,
This looks like a scaling issue. The screen scaling looks like two ticks for full scale.
          I would try two things.
          1) Make sure the data Series is set to AutoScale.
          2) Scrunch the chart so there is more data showing on the screen.

if you are already on Autoscale and the time period for which the chart is displaying is all in a Range of two ticks. Full scale will be two ticks and that might explain what you are seeing . That is why you need to scrunch the scale to force it to adjust.
