    parameter xml settings

    I have a parameter that I am going to modify but I want the user to see the parameter but not change it

    I know to hide it you do this

    private bool bShowVWAP = false;

    [Browsable(false)] // this statement

    [NinjaScriptProperty]

    what is the statement visible but the user can not change it

    private bool bShowVWAP = false;
    [Enabled(false)] // what is this parameter
    [NinjaScriptProperty]

    Hello ballboy11,

    Thanks for opening the thread.

    This is possible through using a TypeConverter. We have an example on our forums on how you can do this to create a Property Descriptor that allows a property to be enabled and disabled.

    This sample can be used to create your own properties that always display as disabled or greyed out.

    Please see the code for Case #2 in the example code below.

    SampleIndicatorTypeConverter - http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...ad.php?t=97919

    Please let me know if you have any questions on the sample.
