Optimizer slowing down

Hi there,

since I forgot to turn of the FXCM Connection while Optimizing, the Opitimizer now I working really slow. It takes 10 Times the time to get results for one pair. What could be the problem?

When you created the connection which historical data servers did you choose? FXCM or NinjaTrader?

I used Ninja-Trader Servers.

The issue is more than likely that when you do a backtest/optimization a request to the data servers is made to get the most up to date data. Depending on the time interval and how far back you are looking, this can take the Optimization time to complete.

If you are disconnected there is no request made and only the local data is used for the calculation.
