SuperDOM: change tick size in price ladder

    Hi,

In SuperDOM, how can I change the tick size to e.g. 1 point instead of 0,01 points?

As it is now for instance on the DAX index, SuperDOM is useless when volatility gets higher (e.g. last friday when DAX moved 30 points during a single minute), it is impossible to set limit orders (see picture).

    Thanks in advance!

    br,
    Christian

    Hello suroot,

    Thank you for your post.

The SuperDOM Price Rows are based on the Tick Size (smallest increment of the instrument). If you wanted to change the Price Rows to the Point of the instrument you would need to edit the Tick Size of the instrument to the 1. This would of course have adverse affects on charts and proper price reporting in the SuperDOM among other windows.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

      Hi,

      Thanks for your reply!

Yes - I have already tried that and it seems like an not so good solution. SuperDOM is one of the major reasons why I'm currently sticking to still evaluating NinjaTrader. So far I love it but this is a feature draw down.

Would it be possible to send a feature request to change the tick size in SuperDOM properties, doesn't seem like a hard feature to implement?

      br,
      Chris

            Hi,

Any news on progress of this feature? I would really love this since I would like to use SuperDOM (but more or less useless for me using FXCM right now).

Thanks and have a nice weekend!

            br,
            Chris

Hello, I would also like to know if the feature request SFT-1958 will be implemented? I have the same issue where the Superdom in NT8 shows price as a tick, which is hard to manage in a volatile market. In NT7 I can adjust the pricing to show the point value instead. Can you can advise whether or not the feature will be implemented, otherwise, I will continue using NT7 and not upgrade to NT8, thanks.
