I added on option to display the current market condition similar to the AscTrend indicator and also the option for an alert on OB/OS conditions.

Between -4 and +4 is green in color and labeled as "fair value" Between +4 to +8 and -4 to -8 are gold in color and considered "moderately overbought" and "moderately oversold". Above 8 or below -8 is labeled in red and labeled "significantly overbought" and "significantly oversold".

Perhaps it will be useful to somebody.

This indicator wouldn't work in strategies. It should be fixed now.

A few ideas for future improvements:
      -Selectable MA type
-Back color/bar color changing based on OB/OS conditions.
      ...

            roonius,

Nice work with the value charts. I was wondering if you could post the source file. I was going to make some color changes to the background so these eyes could see them better. If not I understand.

            Thanks

                Totaly redesigned with plot override:

Now you have a choice to display as OHLC, HiLo, Candlestick or line on Close.
It grabs main chart's bar colors or you can set your own

                    Yes, excellent work. Many thanks.

Is there a way to get the current value to overlay the high/low value?
It tends to get obscured. Thanks.

Hi What is the difference between the Value Chart file that is in the "Indicator" section of the forum and the one posted here? Are they the same?

                              Value Charts in Strategy Wizard

I tried to use CLS71's Value Chart (downloaded from the "Indicators" page in the forum) in the Strategy wizard but it does not seem to work...Is there a way to modify the code such that it can be used in a wizard created strategy...?

                                Hi Guys
New to your forum, can the value chart be converted for Amibroker software?
