I imagine it can be frustrating on both sides to deal with "not supported" features.
A wiki would provide a place where users could aggregate their experience without requiring NT staff to respond. It would also provide a much more organized location to house user generated knowledge on undocumented features.
In a nutshell, it would likely reduce question load on NT staff. And might feel better to say "unfortunately that is not supported, but you could try the User Wiki for further information."
