doubleclick to expand panel to full window

Stacking indicators panel by panel in one window proves very space efficient in watching them line up or diverge, but to take a closer look at a panel requires pulling several pane borders around then back to manually expand a panel, which is awkward and time consuming. It would sure be convenient just to doubleclick a panel or use some other command and have the doubleclicked panel fill the window. One other platform I've used (Neoticker) allows you to doubleclick in a panel to expand the panel vertically into the full window range, hiding all other panels. Additional doubleclicks cycle through the panels, each successively filling the entire window for and covering all others. The first doubleclick creates a tiny button in the windows extreme lower right the name of which (such as "All panels") indicates that the tiny button can be clicked to leave the expanded panels mode and return to the normal stack of panels.

An alternative way to expand/contract the panel would be to include in your right-click menu a menu item named perhaps "Expand Panel," which would toggle to "Contract Panel" if when you right clicked it, presuming it was already expanded.

Daytrading can be fast paced enough that fiddling with panel layout to be able to see if an indicator reached it signal level is dangerously slow and distracting. Thanks for the great continuing support.

    Hello ProfitPilgrim,

    Thanks for your post.

In NinjaTrader 7 that capability exists.

If you right mouse click on the scale area outside an indicator pane, you will get a context menu. Select "Maximize" and the indicator will occupy the full screen of the chart. After it is maximized, at the bottom right of the scale will be a left and right arrow and the letter "M". By clicking on the arrows, you will cycle through each panel, full sized, that is on the chart. If you click the "M", it will restore the original settings.

Please let me know if you have further questions.
