    No data on GC (Gold)

    Hi NT support

    There seems to be no data on GC 04-17 for january. Can you please fix it?

    Hello The_Wiz,

    This is because of the 03-17 expiry month that is present for the GC instrument. Can you please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Instruments. Double click the GC. Scroll to the bottom and click the Contract months field. In the new window that opens, please select the 03-17 expiry month and click "remove". Click OK-->OK-->Close. Reload historical data in the GC 04-17 chart and check if historical data for January is loaded.

      That solved the issue Am I supposed to do this every month?

        Unfortunately the 03-17 can come back after a restart of NinjaTrader. You would have to remove the 03-17 expiry month again. This should be fixed in our next official release (8.0.5.0).

          Unable to get live GC data

          I performed the functions listed in this thread and it updates the historical data to the current minute but there is no live data flowing: the chart does not update and the SuperDOM does not show any bid or ask. I use the NinjaTrader Continuum for data. Data does not show up either in SIM or Live account. I upgraded to the latest build 8.0.6.1 but that did not help. I am having this issue on CL 6-17 and GC 6-17.

            Thank you for your post.

            So that I can look into this issue further, please send an email to [platformsupport at ninjatrader dot com] and provide me with your most current log and trace files. Attach them to the email and refer to this post.

            You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Log folder.
            The log file will be named ‘log.YYYYMMDD.txt’

            You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Trace folder.
            The trace file will be named ‘trace.YYYYMMDD.txt’
