Four decimal points a stock chart (not FX)

    Hi,

I am looking at NXTTF in the OTC in NT8 using data from IB.

For whatever reason, the chart only downloads/displays historical data going back to May this year despite that this stock has data going back to 2014 (verified this on TradingView).

My other issue is that because this is a penny stock, the third and fourth decimal values matter. My NT8 chart only displays 2 decimal values. Is there any way I can increase that to 4?

    Thanks!

    Hello enzo_,

    Thank you for your post.

    1) Interactive Brokers may provide a limited amount of historical data relative to other providers. To ensure that you are loading the maximum amount of historical data, please try increasing the number of "days to load":
    • Right-click the chart and select Data Series...
    • This will bring up a window titled "Data Series"
    • From within this window, locate the option "Days to load" from the data series parameters on the right
    • Increase this number to load additional days on your chart
    • Click OK to apply these changes

If you are still only able to load data back to May, then you may want to consider subscribing to a dedicated data provider with a more extensive resource of historical data. I would suggest Kinetick in this case:
    2) By default, stocks will use a tick size of 0.01. You can change the tick size within the Instrument Editor. You can find more information at the following links:
Let me know if I may be of further assistance.
