Add NYMEX Natural Gas Futures to the default instrument database?

Can NT add the NYMEX Natural Gas Futures to the default instrument database? Currently after NT installation, in the default database, NG is for a futures product traded at UK. Can NT add another entry for NYMEX NG?

I'm pretty sure you can add whatever you want to the default instrument list.

Open the instrument manager and press F1, there's probably a video...

      Hello,

Yes, I know that. I just wish NT would add NYMEX NG to its default instrument database so that I don't have to add it whenever I reinstall NT or reset its instrument database.

BTW, is the NG traded on that UK exchange a more actively traded futures product that the NYMEX NG?

          NG on Nymex Setup

I setup NG on Nymex according to instructions but the pricing isn't correct except under Range Bars. How do you set it up so that it reflects the correct values? I tried to get an answer in another thread:

          http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ht=natural+gas

But am waiting on a reply.

Can you please tell me what data feed provider you are connected to.

Please remove the NG from your instrument list and go to Tools-->Options-->Misc-tab and click Reset Instruments.

Add the instrument back and check if it is reflected correctly.

              I use Zenfire.

I tried your suggestion, no effect.

Under RangeAlt Bars with 10 or 20 ticks:

Open,High,Low,Close ends with "0" (5.880). If there is no gap between the close of a bar and the open of the next bar, the difference between the previous close and the current open will be "10" (Close[1] 5.880 Open[0] 5.890).

Under Range Bars with 10 or 20 ticks:

Open,High,Low,Close goes to 3 digit precision (5.881). The difference between the previous close and the current open will be "1" (Close[1] 5.880 Open[0] 5.881)

I see my colleague Bertrand is already assisting you on the other thread. I suggest to continue troubleshooting the issue on that thread.

Yes he said it was a problem, he would check with the "developer of RangeAlt" and "get back to me". If not in my lifetime then during my son's lifetime.
