Suggestion: Use an issue tracking system

I have a suggestion:

Instead of using a forum to report issues and feature requests, it'd be great if a real issue tracking system was used. JIRA is one of the best, but there are others including Mantis which is free.

This would allow people to check the status of their feature request and/or issue. People could vote on them too. People could search to see if a request was added. I know the forums allow such things but it'd be more efficient with a system that is designed for this purpose.
