Data Series/New chart / Type Section Ninja 7

How do I uninstall an outside vendor add on under the type section on the data series box when starting a new chart.
I want to add a different add on from another source and there evidently isn't enough room on the data port to add one unless I delete/unistall or remove one
How do I do that?

Hello tradercurley,

As custom bar types are not supported for NinjaTrader 7, there is not a supported way to remove open source bar type scripts through the platform.

If the script is open source you will need to manually delete the .cs file from:

• (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Type

Then compile any script.

Please follow the instructions below to see where the errors are coming from after compiling the indicator. This will allow you to debug the indicator/strategy or remove it from your PC. If you are wondering why you receive an error when compiling only one indicator, it is because NinjaTrader always compiles all indicators and strategies - not just one. This is done to give you the highest runtime performance possible.
[LIST][*]Open NinjaTrader[*]From the Control Center select the Tools menu--> select the Edit NinjaScript menu item--> select Indicator[*]Select any indicator and double click on it (we need only to open and compile one script to see all compile errors for all files).[*]A new window will appear and you will need to right click in the window and select Compile to compile the indicators.

If the script is an assembly

• Click File -> Utilities -> Remove NinjaScript Assembly...
• Select the assembly to remove -> click the Remove button
