The current option for linked lines on charts of the same symbol is all charts or none. Is it possible to have more flexibility in selection of charts for line-linking?
To eliminate the redundant work of drawing and maintaining the same lines for horizontal support/resistance, etc., on each tabbed chart of the same symbol, consider a new feature to link lines on tabbed charts. Similar to the line Properties > Attach To function that links lines on All charts of the same symbol, the proposed feature limits the attachment to the user-selected tabbed charts within one chart window. With linked lines on tabbed charts, the user could create new lines or change old lines on any tabbed chart with line-linking turned on, and that new line or change would be repeated for all line-linked tabbed charts in that chart window.
Another approach, with broader configuration flexibility, would be similar to the Global Crosshair function whereby the user could turn on linked lines on any selected chart in the workspace, not just All charts or tabbed charts on one window. The user could then create new lines or change old lines on any chart in the workspace with line linking turned on, and that new line or change would be repeated for all line-linked charts.
Turning on line-linking for a chart would apply linking to all lines of the same type on that chart (e.g. horizontal lines), so linking does not have to be configured for each line individually.
I think many users would find this useful.
In edit: One more thing - Consider the line naming convention in the chart Drawing Objects list. Can line names be something more descriptively identifiable and usable? A horizontal line, for example, instead of "Horizontal Line 123", could be "Horizontal Line <price or value>".
