I've recently started using NT8. A very basic layout, a monthly chart, a daily chart, and a market analyzer with two text columns.
Unfortunately, a very odd and frustrating thing has occurred: NT8 started acting very weird, hard to describe, but the cursor didn't operate correctly, I could select anything on a chart, nor could I bring up a right-click menu. I closed NT8 and reopened.
Upon opening, I found that all the drawing objects and text entries in the market analyzer column (since the last time opening NT8) were gone. This amounts to several hours of work. Obviously frustrating, but even more frustrating is the seeming lack of any "Save" menu items.
Can you please tell me exactly when the drawing/text items are saved, and what I need to do in order to prevent this sort of thing in the future. The loss of all these objects baffles me, it never happened in years of using NT7 (or for that matter any of the dozens of other platforms I've used).
