    "custom ninjascript files on computer that have programming errors"

    Hello, when attempting to import a file for an indicator I receive a message that states:

    "custom ninjascript files on computer that have programming errors"

    Therefore I am unable to import scripts until that is repaired.

    Please advise on how to remedy this problem.

    Hi Mdblythe,

    Thank you for posting.

    You will need to go to the Edit NinjaScript to see where these errors are coming from.
    • Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Indicator
    • Select any indicator
    • From the edit window, select compile or press F5
    • Any errors will appear at the bottom of the window.


    If you are unsure as to what the error is indicating, please send me a screenshot of the error with the name and description fields clearly readable to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com with ATTN Cal in the subject and reference this forum thread.

    To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

      Cal - I am receiving this same error message, but using Direct Edition Live 7.0.1000.15 which does not appear to have the Edit NinjaScript option.

      What to do, please ?
