Need help with programming ATMs

Hi,

I need some help with programming ATMs.

Thanks in advance for your time and assistance.

My strategies are as follow. Please see the attached images (couldn't get "insert image" to work) for what I have come up with so far but they don't seem to be working the way I intended.

1) ATM trailing stop strategy
Initial stop loss of 10 ticks
no profit target
move trailing stop to Breakeven +1 with a 5-tick profit trigger
then auto trailing 6-ticks to exit


2) Scale out strategy 1
Total quantity 4 contracts

Target 1
Exit 2 contracts
initial stop loss: 10 ticks
profit target: 5 ticks
move stop loss to breakeven plus one tick with profit trigger 5 ticks

Target 2 (same as Target 3)
Exit 1 contract
initial stop loss: 10 ticks
profit target: none
move stop loss to breakeven plus one tick with profit trigger 5 ticks
manually trail the stop to exit

Target 3 (same as Target 2)
Exit 1 contract
initial stop loss: 10 ticks
profit target: none
move stop loss to breakeven plus one tick with profit trigger 5 ticks
manually trail the stop to exit

It seems that the system is combining Target 2 and Target 3 as a single exit order of two units.
Is this so?

I’d like to see Targets 2 and 3 as two separate orders.

profit target: 5 ticks

then auto trailing stop 6 ticks to exit

I don’t know if the targets need to be in sequence. In this strategy, Target 3 may be filled before Target 2.

Thank you for writing to the support team.
Your first ATM strategy is correct. The contracts for target 2 and 3 are runners and are treated the same when you close your position. You will need to specify a profit target for these targets to discretize them. For your other strategy, you need to specify a profit trigger and a frequency. The Stop loss field in Auto Trail refers to how many ticks below the current price it will be moved. So setting this to 1 would mean the stop will be moved 1 below the current price. The profit trigger is the profit at which this auto trail will activate, and the frequency is the number of ticks that needs to occur before it updates it again.
So as an example, set Stop Loss to 6, Frequency to 1 and Profit trigger to 7. This means that after 7 ticks in profit the stop loss will be moved to 6 ticks below the current price, then after each tick in profit (frequency 1) after that, it will be moved up again to 6 below the current price.
