Time and Sales Indicator

I think this has come up before, but is it possible to develop a time and sales indicator. Just a line that goes in direction of which is stronger. Has anyone come up with something or is it even possible. Thanks.

evensteven, sure this posssible - for Level 1 you want to work with OnMarketData, for Level 2 with OnMarketDepth -

You can also take a look at the already available 'Time and Sales' window in NinjaTrader (File > New > Time and Sales).

Time & Sales

My trading partner and I would like to understand the various "above ask" "below ask" and the other details from this window.

We do not fully understand those various indicators within the window. The reason is this:

1. We would like to add a very bright color for bids or asks outside of the current spread, IF that is what "ABOVE" or "BELOW" means.

2. We will then screen out bids and asks at a time-tested volume level on the ES mini's...we think $350 seems like a good number....maybe higher?

Anyway, anyone from Ninja around to cover this question?

Thank you for your post.

You can set up color properties within the Time & Sales Properties window with the steps I have provided below.

• Right mouse click in your Time & Sales window
• Properties
• Modify the colors for the parameters you would like
• When finished Click Ok
