Market Analyzer tab name doesn't persist

I have observed an anomaly in NT8 8.0.5.2 64 bit where any changes to the market analyzer tab(s) do not persist once the platform is restarted. I've confirmed this with tracking the NinjaTrader 8 folder with git source control as well.

Steps to reproduce:
Create 1 or more market analyzer tabs.
Rename any or all (for example, NASDAQ100) .
Restart NinjaTrader.

Result:
Instruments survive platform restart.
Tabs are automatically renamed back to @FUNCTION.
Renamed tab is succeeded by an international number denoting the number of open analyzer tabs.

Thank you for your post,

I tested this on my end and am not seeing the same, the tab names are saved upon a close and restart of NinjaTrader 8 given the workspace is saved.

To troubleshoot, I suggest creating a new workspace via the Workspaces menu and creating a new Market Analyzer with no templates or custom items addes as these could be related to the issue.

Thanks for looking into this Eric. I have downloaded the latest NT8 installer and done each option from Repair to Uninstall/Reinstall. After each attempt to clean NinjaTrader install, I am able to duplicate this behavior consistently on both new workspaces, existing ones, no difference. The tabs are renamed upon every restart without exception. I've also tried both 32 and 64 but and both do this upon every restart.

Thank you for your patience while I looked into this.

To test, can you please close NinjaTrader and navigate to the below PC directory and rename the "UI.XMLl" file as "UI.old.XML"? XML may not list in the file name due to WIndows settings.

• Documents > NinjaTrader 8

Try launching NinjaTrader 8 again and testing for issue with the naming tabs.

Forcing NT8 to rebuild a new UI.xml did in fact work. The market analyzer tab names did persist after multiple restarts of the platform. I would consider this a definite solution so thank you for the assitance.
