    enter if within x ticks of EMA

    I'd like to add a condition where a trade will trigger long only if it is 10 ticks or fewer away from the EMA.

    Code:
    if (  Condition1 && current price < EMA+10ticks )
    {
    Enterlong()
    }
    What would be the correct/best way to write this?

    Hello,

    Thanks for your post.

    if (Condition1 && Close[0] < (EMA(period)[0] + 10 * TickSize))
    {
    EnterLong();
    }

    In the code example, period would be whatever period of EMA you are using. The example shows using the Close price, you could also substitute High or Low depending on your needs.

    Edit: Added helpguide reference to TickSize
