No results in Strategy Analyzer

Hi,

I am trying to run a back test on "SampleMACrossover" in Strategy Analyzer.

NT loads the necessary data but does not generate any results.

There are no error messages in the log.

Any ideas as to why I have this problem?

You sure you have data? When you run it and go to the chart tab do you see the data loaded there?

I ran the back test on historical data I had stored in a text file and it worked.

For some reason, it didn't work with the data retrieved form IB? It is strange as I was able to load a chart (file..new..chart) with the very same data.

Would you have you have any ideas as to why the strategy analyzer did not work with the data retrieved from IB?

I will try again Sunday evening when IB will be available.

No idea. Try resetting your database. This can be done in the Tools->Options.

It is strange I had the same problem. Try to select the symbol in the Strategie analyser first and then go to the strategy an choose the sample strategy. This worked has worked for me.

Try to change the beginning and ending time in the strategy parameter to " 0 to 240000" so you include all the data in a day, that works for me.

Somehow NT messed up with the time, so some data was cut off hours.
