Which is better for stock trading? Td Ameritrade or MB Trading?

    Any help appreciated, and suggestions.
Which would be the better broker to use with Ninja,
    Td Ameritrade or
    Mb Trading

(I do know that Td Ameritrade offers NO support at all for Ninja which sucks)
They won't even help you with a link to setup their connection to Ninja.

    Thanks,
    Randy

    Hello Randy,

    Thank you for your post.

I have provided a link below to our Connection Guide that goes over the required steps to create your connection to TDA.

As far as which broker is better this varie from user to user however maybe other members of the forum can give you additional input on their experiences with each.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

I started to notice that TDA lately is getting disconnected continuously from NT which makes the whole experience really frustrating.

They are definitely paying much more attention to TOS

We have not had any reports of issues regarding TD Ameritrade connections. Common reasons that contribute to connection stability are:
        • ISP issues
        • Hardware firewall changing IP addresses frequently
        • Dynamic IP addresses changing frequently intraday. Usually this happens once a week but you may want to check with your ISP. If they do change daily, requesting a static IP address may help.
        • Broker/market data servers may be experiencing temporary downtime

              sledge,

There are several TDA servers that you may connect to. While there's no way to force connection to another server, you may try disconnecting and reconnecting manually which may try a new server which is not experiencing issues.

First off none of the people that work for Ninja will ever tell you who the dog is. Kinda sad really but they have to remain politically correct I know that MBT gave me poor fills when I was on a simple Forex demo account. connection issues weren't awful with them though I can't speak for TD. The brokers that I am investigating heavily at this time are Gar wood securities that I suspect are just functioning as a middle man as they are simply letting you use Interactive Broker as a clearing firm. Or AMP not as many markets as gar wood but still they seem to offer allot. The real trick is to just have the capital to afford interactive broker if you have it I would do it. I have a few securities that should be touching the minimums soon so I may just transfer my whole account over to them.
