Request : Attach drawings to lower time frame

Please take into consideration the following request :

In NT8, it is possible to attach a drawing object to
    - the time frame of current timeframe of a given instrument
    or
    - to all charts of that instrument.

It would be usefull to be able to have a 3rd option : attach to lower timeframe.

Example : on an 1 hour ES chart, having an horizontal line which would not appear on weekly or daily time frame charts, but only on 1 hour, 30 mn, 15 mn etc. time frame charts.

With such an option, when you have drawings on some low time frame charts, you would keep clarity on high time frame charts.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will forward this as a feature request to the Development Team. I will update this post when I receive a tracking number.

Alternatively, there is currently a built-in feature which allows you to disable global objects on particular charts. Follow these steps:
    • Right click on your chart > Data Series
    • Disable 'Show global draw objects' > OK

EDIT: The tracking number is SFT-2293

Patrick, thanks for having taken this request into account and for the alternative.
Disabling "Show global draw objects" can help in some ways.

Just to be clear and that there is no misunderstanding, disabling "Show global draw objects" cannot fully replace the functionnal evolution requested :
      - on intermediate time frame, (ex. 1h on a day / 1h / 15mn display) you loose important drawning
      - When working on the upper time frame, you loose objects drawn on it and set as global (ie most of them when usualy)

I also noticed that I wrote this thread in the wrong section. If possible, could you please move it to the "Suggestions and Feedback" part of the forum ?
