Market Analyzer Alerts - possible bug

    Hi team,

I am trying to add an Alert to the Market Analyzer that will alert me when any of the instruments in the MA hit new highs / lows.

I have configured a new Alert by right-clicking on the MA and selecting Alerts, created the alert etc. but when I try to set the condition under Conditions section, I am not able to select which column I want to compare (last price with daily high/low)- I select Columns, but the list in the box below does not populate.

Could be im not doing something right, since this has changed from NT7 where the conditions were set for each column individually instead of globally..

I tried to take a screenshot for clarity, but the relevant windows are invisible (including the main Control Center window! - another bug?) in the resulting image.

    Hello ours_solaire,

Thank you for your post. I think you may have missed a step in setting the Conditions.

First, make sure you have the Daily High and Daily Low columns already added to your Market Analyzer.

In the Alerts window, below Conditions there is are Add, Edit, and Remove buttons.

After pressing the Add button, a Conditions window should appear. If you have added the Daily High and Daily Low, they should then appear in the Columns section (please see the attached screen shot).

Regarding the issue with taking the screen shot, what method are you using the try and capture the image?

I look forward to your reply.

      Hi Eric,

Thanks for your reply. Im using Windows7 printscreen key for screenshots. Can you suggest a better alternative?

Regarding the MA columns, I have all the relevant columns loaded (lastprice, Daily High, Daily low) but Im totally not seeing the options populate in the lower condition builder window like you showed in your screenshot.

I will try to restart NT8 and retry it. In the meantime I will try to capture a screenshot.

      Cheers.

Update: I restarted NT8 and the columns are now populating correctly in the condition builder.
