How to channel NT/popups into a collection

Hello,

I am using NinjaTrader 8 for Interactive Brokers and I am looking for a way to hide popups shown by NinjaTrader but actually also by Trader Workstation and e.g. channel them into a collection instead.

These popus are of various types, and include, for example, notifications:
- about received news bulletins
- about order rejection
- that an order was accepted outside trading hours and will be executed as soon as trading resumes
- other less frequent notifications I do not remember exactly

I would like to handle these through code and ideally prevent them from poping up on screen (which they currently do in both NT8 and TWS).

no, thanks. This is really not about TWS but about NinjaTrader 8. I can live with TWS poping things up,
What I would like though is to not have NT replicate those popups, and that is the core of my enquiry.

Try bypassing the precautions. From TraderWorkstation, File>Global Configuration>API>Precautions

Let me rephrase this just to make sure I understand correctly: NinjaTrader provides no mechanism, via NinjaScript or otherwise, of intercepting the messages it receives from TWS and that it (=NinjaTrader) replicates in form of popups.

Is that true?

There are no means to do this in NinjaScript or through NinjaTrader configuration but you can do so through the TWS platform.
You may follow the steps in my previous post to suppress the warning messages being sent to NinjaTrader. File>Global Configuration>API>Precautions uncheck what you do not want to see.
