    Quick way to compare Dates

    Hello.

    I want to compare the date of the current bar to the date of the previous bar.

    So if the date of the current bar is 03Jul and the date of the previous bar is 02Jul then I will do something on the first bar of the new day.

    Thanks.

    Hello rcsingleton,

    The time of the bar can be found with Time[barsAgo index] which is a DateTime object.

    Represents an instant in time, typically expressed as a date and time of day.

    For example to know that the date of the bar is greater than the date of the previous bar (without the time).

    if (Time[0].Date > Time[1].Date)

      Thanks for the response.

      This line does exactly what I want:

      Time[0].Date.CompareTo(Time[1].Date)
