MA reset manually and auto

Hi:

In NT 7 what methods can be used to manually reset all MA windows back to zero on profitloss, unrealized, and realized?

After midnight (without having to restart NT), how can we reset?

In NT 8, will there be a easy way to reset, allow for a user controlled time whereby we can set when we want the MA to reset, and will there be better automatic reset features in general?

Could you also send this to the developers?

Thank you for your forum post and for providing your feedback as we continually strive to improve upon NinjaTrader's features.

Realized PnL, unrealized PnL etc... will be reset on a new day as per your local PC clock. If you run NinjaTrader overnight across midnight, a restart of NinjaTrader would be required.

I am not familiar with any other way to reset this without restarting NinjaTrader.


Since the type of functionality you are seeking is not presently supported within NinjaTrader, I have documented this particular request and have sent it to our product development team.

I have heard back from development and the feature to allow the PnL in a Market Analyzer to be updated based on a session template or without relying on the local PC clock time is being tracked with ID#2823.
