    Missing 1m data in charts with CQG data feed

    The desktop where this is occurring is only used for trading. I am running NT 7 on Win 10 that is fully up-to-date on Win 10 updates. I have never had the issue that is going on any of my computers (I have run NT for over past 5 years).

    So, for no known reason, my 1 min charts on ES, GC, and ZN will not display. I can start with a new Workspace, create a new 1m chart with template <NONE> - and all I get is a blank chart.

    To try to fix this, I have: Run DB Repair and Reset. Deleted all files/folders in NT\db\cache.
    Still the bugger persists.

    Also, as an annoying side note - This issue does NOT show up if I connect to replay data, only to live CQG data....

    You suggestions will be greatly appreciated...

    Hello ohtrader,

    Please use the steps I have provided below to delete your cache data:
    • Close NinjaTrader
    • Open (My) Documents/NinjaTrader 7\db\cache\
    • Delete all files within this folder
    • Go up one directory to the \db\ folder
    • Repeat this procedure for the tick, minute, and day folders as well to delete your downloaded historical data
    • Restart NinjaTrader
    • Connect

    Open a new chart without any indicators or templates applied to see if you are able to load a chart.

    This initial load may take a little longer than normal since all new data is being loaded from the historical data servers. After everything has loaded please restart NinjaTrader and let me know if you continue to experience a slow load time.

      Chelsea: Completed the steps you requested. Now the ES 1m chart is normal. The GC and ZN charts are populating, however, do not have the historical data. I ran "Download Historical Data" after both charts were created - but no data prior to when I created the charts is showing. Any additional thoughts?

        Hello ohtrader,

        Who are you connected to?

        Do you have Tools -> Options.. -> Data -> Get data from server (if available) enabled?

        Are there any error messages in the Log tab of the Control Center?

        What session template is selected in the Data Series window?

        How many days to load are set in the Data Series window?

            Hello ohtrader,

            Increase the days to load to 5 (to cover the time the exchange was closed for the holiday).

            Then disconnect and reconnect and let me know if there are any new error messages.
