NT7B16 Bug: Time axis is incorrect when using volume bars in multiple panels

When Volume bars are used, the time axis normally should not show equal time intervals, because the time to complete a bar varies during the day.

However, in NT7B16, when volume bars are used in two panels, a fixed interval is used on the time axis.

This incorrect result causes the space between volume bars to vary bar by bar.

      Hello,

      Thank you for your note.

This is expected due to the differences in the time axis. One chart can only have one time axis. Therefor if you add a fixed time axis price data series to the chart this will be the master time axis and the volume chart will not be equidistantly bar spaced since it has to draw based on the fixed time axis. There is no way to alter this.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

        Brett,
The case you mention, adding a "fixed time axis data series" is not the case addressed in my posting.

There is no logical difficulty in using multiple volume bar data series and displaying the most frequently update bars with equi-distant spacing.

A chart that has only volume bars, no matter how manny data series are displayed, should not have a fixed time axis.

          Hello,

Adding two none linear time frames chart styles will result in a single linear time frame used.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
