the error in log view is "23/03/2012 12:03:47 AM Default Failed to call method 'Initialize' for indicator 'MTF': 'TickSize' property can't be accessed from within 'Initialize' method" and there is no change in the chart.

        Hello,

In this case please check to make sure you have the correct version installed from the indicator developer.

This is a property that is no longer used in NInjaTrader 7 in Initialize it may be possible you installed a version of NinjaTrader 6.5.

Also, please make sure that you have data available to run the indicator. Who is your data feed provider?

Was this indicator downloaded from our forum or elsewhere?

I had installed NT 6.5 earlier but then i was not using it,

I have a custom data feed, and the feed is tick data,

I had downloaded this one for some blog.

          Regards,
          Krishna Jalan

            Hello,

In this case you would need to get an update unfortunately from the indicator developer to make it NT7 compatible.

Krishna, have you already checked into the PowerVolume indicator studies supplied per default with NT?

the volume profile indicator is not working, that was the prime reason i created this post.

I had inadvertently replaced the default indicator with a third party software, now is there a way to recover that.

I see, in this case please close NT down and then save the attached CS file from latest NT7 R9 to your bin > custom > indicator folder. Restart NT and recompile your NinjaScript files in the editor by pressing F5 - then recheck on your charts if the default NT VolumeProfile would be working ok again.

                            Hello,

Is this just when running this third party indicator?

Are you sure that you have set the Session start time in the indicator parameters to a valid start time?

Or is this anytime you do anything? If it occurs anytime it may be time we remove all your indicators and install fresh this would require a complete uninstall and reinstall however.
