Will not compile

Hi

I imported several indicators from this site to my backup machine.

Now it does not let me import any additional indicators due to error
in an existing indicator/strategy. What is the best method to discover in
which file the error occurred so that it can be corrected or file deleted?

This kind of question seems to be quite prevalent on the forum, but there seems to be no concrete answer. Some say to get rid of it if it won't compile, but never telling you how to get rid of it. For a newbie having compile errors, I think you should be more explicit in how to fix or get rid of strategies that won't compile. Remember, it is those who aren't familiar with NT and coding that are asking!!

There is no one correct way to fix compile errors. It depends on where the compile errors come from, what type of errors they are, etc. The simplest thing to do is the obvious one: look at the compile error log in the ninjascript editor to identify the guilty file, then go to the folder containing that file (either the strategy or indicator folder inside the myDocs/nt7/bin/custom folder) and delete the file. Really quite simple.
