    Debugging using Visual Studio

Does anyone know if there is a way to breakpoint ninjascript code and use Visual Studio for debugging?

    Sorry, this is not feasible.

Due to .NET internal restrictions debugging would not be of value since you e.g. could not inspect properties of instances.

    That's why:
    - NT6 no longer support the option to build the custom assembly in debug option (NT5 had this option)
    - we do not promote using VS for debugging

    More tech background:
Although building the custom assembly with debug information is doable (implemented with NT5), it will not run in debug mode (but optimized realized mode), since the calling "module" (= NT iself) is running in release mode.
