in Ninja Trader 8 I configured new instrument
TXF

and as signal code I set up TXF|TIX

when using in charts TXF 09-17 I get no data and I can not download any dat to Ninja

Taiwan Futures exchange is not listed (hoe to add this exchange is another question), so I set up the instrument as on SGX

the code does not resolve however to signal

Can you please try the instructions below and check if this allows you to load data.

To support a futures instrument XXX U7-YYY, whereas XXX is the eSignal instrument name and YYY is the eSignal exchange name, please configure the following in the Instrument Manager:

- 'Default' exchange should be assigned. Please disable all other exchanges
- Set mapping to XXX|YYY. You already have this configured

Unable to set up Tafex futures feed frm esignal

Hi,

I have followed up your instruction and that still does not work
attached a file with full configuration details and log and trace

I have also tried to set up a new code TXT and repeated setting for SPI which is loading, but when using my new instrument TST that also fail to bring the data
not sure what is wrong

thank you, however the issue is that I have valid code and feed in eSignal and I can not set up that feed in Ninja; is there any workaround? looks like I can not add any new instruments as I have tried to set up new symbol for existing working SPI feed and I could not do that either; is that looks more like a bug in Ninja 8 an inability to add any new instruments /futures in ninja 8 platform linking to esingal

Unfortunately I am not aware of any other workaround. The workaround I provided should normally work in NinjaTrader 7. It does not seem to work in NinjaTrader 8. We need to support the exchange where the instrument trades.

TW futures contract traded on SGX also is not downloding from eSignal

Taiwanese Futures can also be traded on SGX

this symbol is preconfigured in Ninja 8, but
also can not be downloaded via eSignal connection
I have added TW|SGX to esignal mapping but that also does not work

interesting is that SGX uses different month code, first year then month
eSignal code is
TW 7U-SGX and also TW 7U-SGX=1 and TW 7U-SGX=2 for separate sessions

can you please add this list of items for review by development?

Are you able to load data if you use TW as symbol map and only enable the Sgx exchange? Make sure to select the TW 12-17 in NinjaTrader.

Please note that you can only access the current front month with eSignal in NinjaTrader, so you will not be able to load data for the TW 09-17.

By creating instrument set exchange as a Default.
add rollover date for 09/17
I remember when i have real-time data from MCX-SX(esignal) exchange from India this exchange was not in exchange list and it worked. symbol mapping is correct TXF|TIX for Taifex futures
