NT8 is really an amazing software

This an honest comment and it seems to me important to let you know.

After working a couple of weeks, the evolution is quite remarkable from NT7, plenty of details that eases our work as traders and developers. For any trader willing to begin trading, this is a "must" tool, the first step.

I love NT8 for market replay, but in live mode, the TDA adapter isn't robust.

I've almost have completely given up on bug reports. Charts still fail to stream, data fails to record for replay, memory consumption on nt8 alerts (market rollover, new version).

I'm stuck in nt7.

It is difficult to see any progress on these key issues in the monthly update releases.. It appears they continue to fix minor bugs but the key show stopping issues don't seem to be getting addressed.

I wonder if Brandon could comment on what progress is being made on the big issues.

Does NT acknowledge that NT8 is not ready for prime time or do they feel that NT8 is fine in its current state?

That's exactly what I feel. It takes a while to adapt to the new version, but I would never go back.

The thing is, however, when you go back to 7 after using 8 for a while the speed of the application is noticeably better. It feels like an upgrade to go back to 7. That is unfortunate.
